I grew up in the most pleasant town, which I have, in fact, renamed Pleasant. My childhood, as I recall it and if I don't dig too deep, was freakishly happy. I am compiling my happy memories into a book, Growing Up Pleasant. The next collection of essays is Boy Stories, whose title is self-explanatory. And finally, there will be My Re-Written History, which is comprised of true tales followed by the same stories re-written to please me. And, I hope, the reader.
I am also working on two novels, although one languished so long that it began to re-write itself in my head, so technically, I am working on the second draft. The other has languished so long as to need a complete re-write, but I can't find it under the pile of dust it has collected, so... maybe I'll just start fresh on that one. And I have completed a children's book in rhyming verse (think Ogden Nash, rather than Dr. Seuss).
Publish? Sure.
